This class will be taught by local weaver/gourd artist Dana Chace. This is a two day class due to the prep and drying time required for the gourd. The first day will teach you how to prepare the gourd, cutting, cleaning and drying. This will be a two hour class on Saturday May 16th at 1pm. The second part of the class will be decorating the rim of the gourd with horsehair or pine needles and embellishment with beads. The second class will take place on Saturday May 30th at 1:00pm and will also be a two hour class.Cost of the class will be $50 with supplies and tools provided. If you have a dremel tool or any of your own beads you would like to use, please bring them along.
